Inspired by the bed nets used on the Greek island of Mykonos, the Mykonos Bed Net is an exquisite bed net for world travelers.
The bed net is made from 256 holes per square inch white polyester mosquito netting and is hung by a screw-in hook. The net is supported by 8 foldable struts made from yellow groove bamboo. These struts measure just over 13 inches in length and fold out to a diameter of 26 inches, creating a wide space underneath the top of the net.
The net itself measures 26 inches in diameter at the top of the net, 98 inches in height, and has a base circumference of 41 feet.
The net and struts weigh a mere 1.4 lbs and pack into waterproof drawstring bag that measures 21 inches by 16 inches x 21 inches. The Mykonos net also comes with a moisture-resistant slip for the bamboo struts.

United StatesI used two nets to create a tent under my porch so we can sit out there and not get eaten by mosquitoes this Summer. So far, so good. The tiger mosquitoes have not arrived yet (too cold here) but they will soon. We're waiting to see how the nets work against them!
I love this mosquito net. My ceilings are too high for a traditional net and this is perfect. It is very stable and fits over my full-time bed with room to spare. The netting appears to be excellent quality. Highly recommended!
