Lightweight, compact, and easy to set up and break down, the Summer Mosquito Net Tent is an outstanding traditional mosquito net tent for use in lodges, hostels, and bungalows.
The Summer tent is a traditional tent in that it is erected using two foldable poles that run through sleeves on the edges of the tent. This makes it very simple and easy to set up and break down.
The tent measures 4.5 feet in width, 4 feet in height, and just over 6 feet in length. The poles are flexible fiberglass with aluminum sockets and fold up to 22 inches long. The netting is 50 Denier white polyester mosquito netting with 156 holes per square inch.
The tent and poles are stored in a black waterproof nylon drawstring bag and measures 22 inches in length and 3.5 inches in diameter when packed.
While the Summer tent is not nearly as convenient as the Santorini tent, it does have its own advantages! In my opinion, the largest advantage the Summer tent has over similar tents is its compact packed size. At just 22 inches long and 3.5 inches in diameter, it can be easily transported. The Summer tent also has a full floor, unlike the Santorini, so it can be set up anywhere and is completely sealed against mosquitoes.
I still recommend this tent mainly as an indoor tent or picnic tent. It can be used as an outdoor tent, but if you plan on using your tent outdoors on a regular basis, I would recommend the IBNS Mosquito Net Tent or IPS Mosquito Net Tent.

Bought the summer net to use while researching dragonflies and it is still holding up after 4 months. I was worried that the poles would snap while setting it up, but I have only had to set it up once and have not had any problems. I am going to buy a second tent for my colleague as a retirement gift and will update if that tent has any problems. So far I am very happy with the product.
I bought the tent to use while traveling in Vietnam and I am happy with it. The tent is a bit big for the beds in some of the hostels I am staying at, but it is not a problem. I have used it every night for a month now and I have not torn it yet, so that is good. I don't mind sewing up holes, but it is nice to not have to spend the time doing it. All-in-all, a good enough net!
